Mark Kersey (born c. 1976) is an American politician who was a member of the San Diego City Council for District 5 from 2012 to 2020. He was elected in June 2012 and re-elected in June 2016. Kersey was council president pro tem in 2016 and 2017. Initially a registered Republican, Kersey left the party in 2019 and became an independent.[1]
