Christopher Stuart Henshilwood is 'n Suid-Afrikaanse argeoloog. Hy is sedert 2007 professor in Afrika-argeologie aan die Universiteit van Bergen en sedert 2008 professor aan die Universiteit van die Witwatersrand en voorsitter van "Die Oorsprong van Moderne Menslike Gedrag" van die Universiteit van die Witwatersrand. Henshilwood het internasionaal bekend geword vanweë sy opgrawings in die Blombosgrot, waar - volgens sy studie wat in 2002 gepubliseer is - die oudste bekende werke van die mensdom ontdek is.^[1] Henshilwood en sy werk het op National Geographic^[2][3][4] en CNN Inside Africa verskyn.^[5]
