Simon and Garfunkel va ser un duo de música folk rock format per Paul Simon i Arthur o Art Garfunkel, molt populars els anys 60. Algunes de les seves cançons més conegudes són The Sound of Silence (El so del silenci), Mrs. Robinson (Senyora Robinson), i Bridge over Troubled Water (Pont sobre aigües turbulents). A més, han rebut uns quants premis Grammy i són al "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame". El 2004, la revista Rolling Stone classificava Simon i Garfunkel al núm. 40 de la seva llista 100 Greatest Artists of All Time (Els 100 artistes més grans de tots el temps).[1]
