Giuseppe Domenico Scarlatti (auch: Domingo Escarlate (portugiesisch) oder Domingo Escarlatti (spanisch); * 26. Oktober 1685 in Neapel; † 23. Juli 1757 in Madrid) war ein italienischer Komponist und Cembalist. Seine Hauptbedeutung liegt in den Sonaten für Cembalo, die zum Originellsten ihres Genres im 18. Jahrhundert zählen.[1][2]
