John Leland (* 13. September, um 1503, in London; † 18. April 1552; auch Leyland geschrieben; lat. Johannes Lelandus) war ein englischer Altertumsforscher und Historiker sowie Bibliothekar des Königs Heinrich VIII. Er begründete die Forschungen zur englischen Lokalgeschichte.
