Otto Ammon (* 7. Dezember 1842 in Karlsruhe; † 14. Januar 1916 ebenda) war ein deutscher Ingenieur und Journalist sowie Privatgelehrter. Er führte statistische Erhebungen durch und wird als Begründer der Sozialanthropologie in Deutschland angesehen.[1]
