The 2019 Sugar Bowl was a college football bowl game played on January 1, 2019.[5] It was the 85th edition of the Sugar Bowl, and one of the 2018–19 bowl games concluding the 2018 FBS football season. Sponsored by the Allstate insurance company, the game was officially known as the Allstate Sugar Bowl. About an hour before the game Texas live mascot, Bevo attacked Georgia's mascot, Uga.
