A Deadly Adoption is a 2015 American satirical made-for-television thriller-drama film[2] directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg (in her feature directorial debut) and written by Harper Steele.[a] It debuted on the Lifetime Network on June 20, 2015.
It stars Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig (both normally known for comedic roles, thus their casting was viewed as odd) as a typical middle-class husband and wife, with Jessica Lowndes serving as the agenda-driven villain.
