Aashiq Banaya Aapne (English: You Made me a Lover) is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller film directed by Aditya Datt. Inspired by the 2001 American film Tangled,[3] it stars Emraan Hashmi, Sonu Sood, and Tanushree Dutta (in her debut), and follows a love triangle between their characters.[4]

The film was released on 2 September 2005 and was successful at the box office, with publications like Rediff.com considering it a surprise hit.[2][5] It received praise for its soundtrack and criticism for the writing.[6][7][8]

But the love triangle itself co-starring Tanushree Dutta and Sonu Sood is nothing more than a mindless skin show dedicated to showcasing Dutta's curves and Emraan's lip-locking skills.
