Bermagui is a town on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia, in the Bega Valley Shire. It lies on the shores of the southern end of Horseshoe Bay.[3] The name is derived from the Dyirringanj word, permageua,[4] possibly meaning "canoe with paddles".[5]
