Bruce A. McPherson (born January 7, 1944) is an American politician who served as the 30th California secretary of state from March 30, 2005, to January 7, 2007. He is currently a member of the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors.[2] As of 2024, McPherson is the very last Republican to serve as California Secretary of State to date.
