Channel 39, also known as Southern Television (and formerly Dunedin Television and Channel 9), was a regional television station operating in Dunedin, New Zealand. The channel was a division of Allied Press, who also publish the local daily newspaper Otago Daily Times. In December 2023, it was announced that Channel 39 would close by Christmas 2023.[1]
