Chivaraku Migiledi (transl. What remains at the end) is a 1960 Indian Telugu-language romance film, written and directed by Gutha Ramineedu.[1] The film was a remake of the Bengali film Deep Jwele Jaai. The Bengali film Deep Jwele Jaai was a huge critical and commercial success. Impressed by the story line, producer Vuppunuthula Purushotham Reddy and director G. Ramineedu remade the Bengali film into Chivaraku Migiledi (1960). Another remake in Hindi was made by Asit Sen, Khamoshi, at the same time. Waheeda Rehman said in an interview that she could not meet the standards set by Suchitra Sen and Savitri for the character she played in Khamoshi.[1]
