Clinton is a town in Kennebec County, Maine, United States. The town was named for New York Governor DeWitt Clinton.[2] The population was 3,370 at the 2020 census.[3] The main village in town is the Clinton census-designated place, with a population of 1,386 at the 2020 census.[4]
