Dirk Jeffrey Koetter (/ˈkʌtər/ KUT-ər;[1] born February 5, 1959) is an American football coach who is currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Boise State University. He was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL) from 2016 to 2018 and was the head coach at Boise State from 1998 to 2000 and at Arizona State University from 2001 to 2006, compiling a career college football record of 66–44 (.600). Koetter also served as the offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, and Buccaneers.
