Salvatore Caridi (1898 – June 27, 1980)[1] was an Italian American social leader and fascist agitator during the 1930s. Before emigrating to the United States, he served in the Royal Italian Army during World War I and later as deputy mayor of the Cirò marina district. Upon the United States entering World War II, he was interned as an enemy alien. He is most notable for his cooperation with Nazi activist Fritz Kuhn and the German American Bund.[2][3]
