Edingeni is a residential town in Mzimba, Malawi, southeast Africa.[1][2] It is located North of Mzimba in the Northern Region. It is a home to Edingeni FC. Chitumbuka is the predominant language spoken in the area which is also the official regional language of the Northern Region of Malawi. The town has a rich history dating back to the pre-colonial era, when it was a small village inhabited by the Tumbuka people.[3]

The town is home to the current Ngoni King M'mbelwa V who is the ruler of the town.[4]
