Eleanor Darnall Carroll (1703-1796), was an heiress in colonial Maryland. She married Daniel Carroll, a wealthy planter, and was the mother of Daniel Carroll, a Founding Father of the United States and John Carroll, the Archbishop of Baltimore who founded Georgetown University.
