Erland Josephson (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈæ̌ːɭand ˈjûːsɛfˌsɔn]; 15 June 1923 – 25 February 2012) was a Swedish actor and author.[1] He was best known by international audiences for his work in films directed by Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky and Theodoros Angelopoulos.
