Eunos station

Eunos MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East–West MRT line in Geylang, Singapore. It is located next to the Eunos Bus Interchange.

The station was named in honour of an early Malay pioneer, Mohamed Eunos bin Abdullah, who secured 700-hectares of land for Malay settlements in the area called Jalan Eunos Malay Settlement (Kampung Melayu). It was also the nearest MRT station to Marine Parade area in the 1990s and before the opening of Marine Parade MRT station along the Thomson East Coast Line.
