Flumetasone, also known as flumethasone,[1] is a corticosteroid for topical use. It has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties, and it is approved for human and animal use for a variety of medical conditions.[2][3]
It was patented in 1951 and approved for medical use in 1964.[4]
