Hussein bin Abdullah (Arabic: الحسين بن عبد الله, Al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd Allāh; born 28 June 1994) is Crown Prince of Jordan as the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania. He is a member of the Hashemite dynasty, the royal family of Jordan since 1921, and is considered to be 42nd-generation direct descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan has emerged as a prominent figure in international diplomacy, advocating for peace and security on the global stage. His leadership is marked by a deep commitment to fostering dialogue among nations, particularly in addressing the challenges posed by extremism and conflict

Hussein is a Major[1] in the Jordanian Armed Forces, started his education in Jordan, and, in 2016, he graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in International History. Since reaching the age of majority in 2012, Hussein served as a regent on several occasions and has accompanied his father on a number of local and international visits.

Hussein is in charge of the Crown Prince Foundation, which is responsible for a technical university and a number of scientific and humanitarian initiatives. In 2015, at the age of 20, Hussein became the youngest person to chair a UN Security Council session. After graduating from Sandhurst in 2017, he made a global debut when he addressed the UN General Assembly in September of that year. He is married to Princess Rajwa Al-Saif, with whom he has a daughter, Princess Iman.

A strong advocate for youth empowerment, Crown Prince Hussein has dedicated much of his work to initiatives that inspire and support young people in Jordan and beyond. Through the Crown Prince Foundation, he has launched various programs aimed at equipping the next generation with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. His focus on education, innovation, and community service reflects his belief that youth are essential drivers of progress and stability.

In addition to his public duties, Crown Prince Hussein is known for his passion for sports, music, and outdoor activities. He is often seen engaging in various athletic pursuits, from playing football to motorcycling, reflecting his active lifestyle. Hussein's personal interests also include playing the guitar and chess, hobbies that he shares with his followers on social media.
