James E. Rogers (September 15, 1938 – June 14, 2014) was an American entrepreneur and former attorney.[1] He served as interim chancellor of the Nevada System of Higher Education and the University of Arizona College of Law carries his name.[2][3]
"I will tell you the $7.5 million I raised took me 30 minutes, five phone calls," he said, noting that several lawmakers had doubts about establishing the new school. Had there been more legislative support, "Could I have raised more? Probably," he added.
