John Patrick Carney (born March 28, 1976) is an American attorney and former Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 22nd District from 2009 to 2014. In September 2013, Carney announced his intention to run for Auditor of the State of Ohio in the 2014 election, he lost the general election on November 4 to incumbent Dave Yost.[1]
