^Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They recognize several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.
The following is a list of awards, honors, and nominations received by American actor Ke Huy Quan.
Quan is one of two actors of Asian descent to win an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, the other being Haing S. Ngor in 1985.[1] He also became the first Vietnam-born actor in history to win an Oscar. Quan was the first Asian man to win any individual category at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, as well as the first Vietnamese-American actor to be nominated in the supporting category.[2][3][4][5]
