Manturovsky District (Russian: Мантуровский район) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,010 square kilometers (390 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Manturovo.[1] Population: 11,375 (2021 Census);[6] 14,349 (2010 Census);[3] 16,758 (2002 Census);[7] 19,994 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Manturovo accounts for 19.3% of the district's total population.[3]
