The McMahon family (/məkˈmæn/ mək-MAN) is an Irish-American family primarily known for their proprietorship of the world's largest professional wrestling company, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE.) Vince McMahon, a third-generation wrestling promoter, was the chairman and chief executive officer of WWE between 1982 and 2024. McMahon's son-in-law, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, currently serves as the company's chief content officer. His daughter Stephanie held various positions in the company until her retirement in 2023.

The family's involvement in wrestling dates back to 1915 when Jess McMahon began promoting competitions. Before his death in 1954, Jess and his son, Vincent J. McMahon, formed the Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC) in 1953 which became a territory of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA.) However, following a dispute in early 1963, CWC left the NWA and became the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF). Vincent's son, Vince, joined the WWWF in 1969 and purchased the promotion thirteen years later, which had been renamed to World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1979. The company went public in 1999 and was then renamed World Wrestling Entertainment in 2002, with WWE becoming its public trade name in 2011.

Today, WWE's programs are broadcast in 150 countries and more than thirty languages.[1] In April 2023, Vince McMahon sold the company to Endeavor, the parent company of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC.) The sale was finalized in September 2023. WWE and UFC merged to become divisions of TKO; McMahon eventually retired in January 2024 amidst an ongoing sex trafficking scandal. The McMahon family has also branched out into movie production and American football via the XFL.
