Mineiro (Portuguese pronunciation: [miˈnejɾu] ^ⓘ)^[a], Mineirês, or the Brazilian mountain accent (Portuguese: montanhês) is the Brazilian Portuguese term for the accent spoken in the Center, East and Southeast regions of the state of Minas Gerais.
