The Spanish Minister of War (Spanish: Ministro de la Guerra) was the head of the Ministry of War. The position was established as the Secretary of State (Ancient Regime in Spain) (Spanish: Secretario del Despacho de Guerra) in 1807. In 1977 it was collected with the Minister of the Navy and Minister of the Air to create the Minister of Defence.
