In Greek mythology, Phoroneus (/fəˈrɒn.js/; Ancient Greek: Φορωνεύς means 'bringer of a price'[1]) was a culture-hero of the Argolid, fire-bringer,[2] law giver,[3] and primordial king of Argos.
