The U.S. State of Colorado has 20 statistical areas that have been delineated by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Statistical areas are important geographic delineations of population clusters used by the OMB, the United States Census Bureau, planning organizations, and federal, state, and local government entities.
On July 21, 2023, the OMB delineated three combined statistical areas, seven metropolitan statistical areas, and ten micropolitan statistical areas in Colorado. The most populous of these statistical areas is the Denver-Aurora-Greeley, CO CSA, with a population of 3,623,560 at the 2020 census.
(Full article...)Vincent Darrell Groves (April 19, 1954 – October 31, 1996) was an American serial killer who murdered at least seven girls and women in Denver, Colorado, between 1978 and 1988. His guilt was conclusively proven in four murders with the help of DNA profiling in 2012, 16 years after his death, as a result of which his total victim count remains unknown. According to the Denver Police Department, based on circumstantial evidence and a number of testimonies, Groves could have been responsible for more than 20 murders. (Full article...)
Ryan Emilie Williams (born February 23, 1996) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for the North Carolina Courage of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
Born in Centennial, Colorado, Williams played college soccer for the TCU Horned Frogs. She was drafted by the Courage with the 40th pick of the 2018 NWSL College Draft. During her stint with the Courage, the team has won the NWSL Shield and the NWSL Championship in both 2018 and 2019 and the NWSL Challenge Cup in 2022 and 2023.
