Saga (佐賀市, Saga-shi, Japanese: [saꜜɡa]) is the capital city of Saga Prefecture, located on the island of Kyushu, Japan. As of 30 April 2024, the city had an estimated population of 227,138 in 104354 households, and a population density of 530 persons per km2.[1] The total area of the city is 431.81 km2 (166.72 sq mi).
