Stella (Ligurian: A Steja; translates literally as The Star) is a comune of the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria. The municipality has a population of 3,006 (as of 1 January 2018)[3] and extends over an area of 43.68 square kilometres (16.86 sq mi). It borders the comuni of Albisola Superiore, Celle Ligure, Pontinvrea, Sassello and Varazze.
