Strongylodon macrobotrys, the jade vine, is a species of
leguminous perennial
liana endemic to the Philippines. The woody stems can reach a length of up to 18 m (60 ft). A member of the family
Fabaceae (the pea and bean family), the species has pendulous bunches of flowers which are followed by fleshy seed pods, and is pollinated by bats. This
