Tongwynlais (Welsh pronunciation: [tɔŋgˈwɪnlai̯s]) is a village and community in the north of Cardiff, Wales, north of the M4 motorway in the Taff Valley. It is notable as the location of the hillside landmark, Castell Coch. The population as of the 2011 census was 1871. ^[1]
