Tyrone Nix (born September 30, 1972) is an American football coach who currently serves as defensive coordinator for the Tarleton State Texans. Nix is the former defensive coordinator for the Middle Tennessee football team, the former associate head coach and defensive coordinator for Ole Miss Rebels football, and the former defensive coordinator for the South Carolina Gamecocks and Southern Miss Golden Eagles. He is the brother of Derrick Nix, a former Southern Miss star and the current wide receivers coach at Ole Miss.
