In Greek mythology, Ureus (Ancient Greek: Οὔρειόν means ‘fortress’) was a centaur who attended Pirithous’ and Hippodameia’s wedding. Together with his kin, they fought against the Lapiths during the celebrated Centauromachy.[1]
