Hi. I checked the RTÉ website and with someone I know in the press office. Both confirmed there is no fada on the radio. Strictly speaking, the radio is spelt in english in the title, apparently a cock-up when Radio Éireann was being named. My source thought it probably should be Raidió. But not Radió. Ha, RTÉ spell the second word wrong too, as Telefís, not Teilifís. I guess that's the way they were taught Irish in Dublin 4!

Hello. Now, there is only one Wiktionary thas has been set up. On http://wiktionary.org there are
- words in English with translation in various languages
- words in other languages tthan English with translation in English.

I appreciate your concern with translation and request you pay some attention to Simple English - some parity between Simple English and Esperanto versions would be good as a base for translations - agreeing on a common en:defining vocabulary of no more than 2000 words for both would be good. This would make Wikipedia a bit less Euro-imperialistic and less likely to extinct small languages that lack all those extra big words. ;'-)
Also, m:Wikimedia press release needs your attention, and some strategy for dealing with the non-English press. Also it tends to bring to light some issues (m:systemic bias, m:The ideal Wikipedia board, m:Wikipedia3 and m:Wikipedia4) that will have to be settled eventually, preferably, before there is a public commitment to any particular position that will bind a m:board that doesn't exist yet. Please help lead this process and refine the ways that m:Wikipedia Governance evolves into a more small-g m:governance. It seems multiple attempts to make Wikipedia more balanced across languages and views have failed, and, it would be good not to miss this chance.
