Vivegam (transl. Prudence) is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language military science fiction action thriller film directed by Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. It stars Ajith Kumar in the lead role, alongside Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan, Karunakaran, Aarav Chowdhary, Bharath Reddy and Sharat Saxena. In the film, A celebrated covert operation specialist Ajay Kumar (AK) is assigned a high risk mission to retrieve the detonation codes for deadly plutonium weapons stolen by terrorists to upset the world order. After putting his unparalleled skills to use he finds himself on the verge of successfully completing the mission, only to be shocked by treasonous acts which he wouldn't have even dreamt of. He is then left to deal with overwhelming odds stacked against him in order to survive.

The film marks the Tamil debuts of Vivek Oberoi and Akshara Haasan. The music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while the cinematography and editing were done by Vetri and Ruben.

Vivegam was released worldwide on 24 August 2017 to mixed reviews from critics and audiences.[11]
