Walter Whitman Moore, born 1959 in Virginia,[1] is an American lawyer in Pasadena, California.[2] He has run for mayor of Los Angeles twice, in 2005[3][4] and 2009.[5][6] In 2009, he received over a quarter of the vote and came in second to Antonio Villaraigosa. At various times, he has been an Independent and a member of both major political parties.
