The Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA; Urdu: مقتدرہ ترقیات پانی و بجلی) is a government-owned public utility agency maintaining hydropower and water in Pakistan, although it does not manage thermal power plants. WAPDA includes Tarbela and Mangla dams among its resources. Its headquartered in Lahore.
