West Central Georgia is a ten-county region in the U.S. state of Georgia, bordering Alabama.[1] As of 2020, the region's population was 524,586. Largest cities in the region: Newnan (pop. 42,855), LaGrange (pop. 30,904), Carrollton (pop. 26,723), Griffin (pop. 23,470), Villa Rica (pop. 17,156), Thomaston (pop. 9,819), Barnesville (pop. 6,282).
