Western media

Western media is the mass media of the Western world. (i.e. the United States, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand) During the Cold War, Western media contrasted with Soviet media. Western media has gradually expanded into non-Western countries around the world. (i.e. Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific Islands)[1]
