Westport is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Lincoln County, North Carolina, United States. The population of the CDP was 4,026 at the 2010 census,[4] up from 2,006 at the 2000 census. The community's name comes from its location on the west side of Lake Norman.
