This is the help page for igloo, which is currently in development. Since igloo is being updated very frequently at the moment this help page may not reflect the current state of igloo.

This is the user manual for igloo. It is community-maintained. It may contain information that is out of date with the latest igloo releases. Feel free to edit, add, or remove to improve the comprehension and quality.

The intention is that igloo become quite a large script, with several advanced and useful features. As it is still very much in development, however, I have not got round to creating – and definitely not documenting – most of the current and intended features. You're free to expand this page, but if you need any help at the moment, just leave a note on the talk page.

igloo has the following operating requirements:

• Mozilla Firefox 3+, Google Chrome and Safari (igloo doesn't work with Internet Explorer or Opera)
• Full JavaScript-enabled — JavaScript limitations may prevent it from running correctly
• Rollback privileges (visit Wikipedia:Requests for permissions to get this)
• A fast internet connection

igloo is designed for, and compatible with, the monobook and vector skins — other skins are not guaranteed to work and your success may vary.

• Add importScript('Wikipedia:Igloo/gloo.js'); // [[Wikipedia:Igloo]] to your skin.js page
• Clear your browser cache. Bypassing the cache is occasionally ineffective, and may result in the igloo modules failing to communicate.
• Be sure to add exceptions to any script blocking add-ons such as NoScript.
• Reload this page, and click 'launch igloo'.
