Welcome to the assessment department of WikiProject Idaho! This department focuses on assessing the quality of Wikipedia's Idaho related articles. While much of the work is done in conjunction with the WP:1.0 program, the article ratings are also used within the project itself to aid in recognizing excellent contributions and identifying topics in need of further work.

The ratings are done in a distributed fashion through parameters in the {{WikiProject Idaho}} project banner; this causes the articles to be placed in the appropriate sub-categories of Idaho articles by quality and Idaho articles by importance, which serves as the foundation for an automatically generated worklist. As of 4 July 2024, there are 4,485 articles within the scope of WikiProject Idaho, of which 10 are featured and 22 are good articles. This makes up 0.07% of the articles on Wikipedia, 0.09% of all featured articles and lists, and 0.06% of all good articles. Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, etcetera, there are 15,712 pages in the project.
