Shadow of the Beast — littéralement, L'Ombre de la Bête — est un jeu vidéo d'action, développé par Reflections et édité par Psygnosis sur Amiga en novembre 1989. Le jeu fut adapté sur Atari ST et micro-ordinateurs 8 bits en 1990. D'autres portages sur consoles ont été réalisés par la suite. À la fois prouesse technologique et réussite esthétique, Shadow of the Beast a acquis un statut culte dans la communauté Amiga.
Le jeu a connu deux suites : Shadow of the Beast II (1990) et Shadow of the Beast III (1992).
Un remake développé par Heavy Spectrum Entertainment Labs est paru en sur PlayStation 4.
