Harry Potter è una saga cinematografica fantasy basata sull'omonima saga letteraria di J. K. Rowling. Distribuita dalla Warner Bros., è composta da otto lungometraggi usciti nell'arco del primo decennio del XXI secolo, da La pietra filosofale (2001) a I Doni della Morte - Parte 2 (2011).[1] È terza tra le saghe con il maggior incasso di tutti i tempi con 7.7 miliardi di dollari.[2]
La saga è stata prodotta da David Heyman e vede gli attori Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint ed Emma Watson nei ruoli dei tre protagonisti Harry Potter, Ronald "Ron" Weasley ed Hermione Granger. Quattro sono i registi che hanno lavorato ai film: Chris Columbus ha diretto il primo e il secondo, Alfonso Cuarón il terzo, Mike Newell il quarto e David Yates gli ultimi quattro.[3] Il settimo e ultimo capitolo è stato diviso in due pellicole, prima e seconda parte.[4]
