Anglai – tauta, susiformavusi dabartinės Anglijos teritorijoje, kalbanti anglų kalba. Anglų tauta susiformavo ankstyvaisiais viduramžiais, kai senąja anglų kalba buvo vadinama Anglecynn. Dabar Anglija yra Didžiosios Britanijos dalis ir dauguma anglų turi britų pilietybę. Anglų pavadinimas atsirado iš germanų anglų genties, kuri į Angliją atvyko iš Šiaurės Vokietijos.

Istoriškai anglai kilo iš senųjų britų, germanų genčių, kurios apsigyveno Anglijoje (anglų, jutų, saksų) ir buvo vadinamos anglosaksais ir vėliau danų bei normanų. Po Unijos akto 1707 m., patvirtinusio Didžiosios Britanijos įkūrimą, anglai pradėti tapatinti su britais.

Daugiausiai anglų gyvena Didžiojoje Britanijoje (45,4 mln.). Taip pat anglų imigrantai ir jų palikuonys gyvena Australijoje, Indijoje, JAV, Kanadoje, Naujojoje Zelandijoje, PAR bei kitose Didžiosios Britanijos buvusiose kolonijose.
