Fort Worth is een stad die ongeveer 50 kilometer ten westen van de stad Dallas ligt. Het is de op vier na grootste stad in Texas met ruim 854.000 inwoners (volgens North Central Texas Council of Governments[1]). De stad valt onder het stedelijk gebied Dallas - Fort Worth - Arlington en maakt deel uit van de Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
